Last weekend, the Hon. Irwin Cotler spoke at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles as the 2011 Roz & Abner Goldstine Scholar and made an extraordinary presentation on “The Delegitimization of Israel.” Below are three videos from that presentation.
The first is Cotler on why the large number of UN resolutions against Israel is not the most significant part of the UN de-legitimization of Israel. The second is on why Cotler refused the UN invitation to be part of a “fact-finding” mission to investigate civilian casualties in Gaza, and what he told Richard Goldstone before Goldstone chose to accept that mission. The third is Cotler’s advice on what is to be done about all this, how to “leave the docket of the accused.”
